Novia D’art – New Bridal Collection Designer

When Spanish wedding dress designer Novia D’art launched its 2013 bridal collection at Barcelona Bridal week this year, attendees found themselves instantly smitten with the fun and flirty creations floating down the catwalk one after the other. The Novia D’art 2013 collection features a contemporary take on traditional style silhouettes. Gowns come in an array of shapes and fabrics, from luxurious lace A-lines, to strapless satin princess cuts and floral embellished mermaid styles. A burst of colour comes through with a few pretty peach gowns that really pack a punch (in particular Valentina below – wowza), and in embellished floral belts to add depth and structure.
Valentina is certainly the biggest show stopper of the entire collection. A strapless peach bodice with crystal embellished belt and statement ruffle skirt, this is certainly not for the wallflower bride! It’s an instant classic, modern but timeless and the most fun thing about it? The skirt can be easily adjusted to a shorter below-the-knee version for dancing!
The fun and flirty Jazmin is a gown created for a particularly girly bride, with its floral embellished straps and sweetheart neckline bodice. The full princess style soft tulle skirt glides like a cloud for a real traditional bridal feel.
We love the very cute Nernia with its simple ballgown silhouette and sweet peach-coloured floral belt.
Novia D’art even does lace well, evident with the beautifully structured Andrea. This crochet style lace makes a big impact, and is balanced perfectly with a simple, feminine silhouette and sweetheart neckline. The gown is accessorised with a very on-trend, lace lined high neck sheer cape with statement trail.
